</infobox> A Sprain Risk is caused by a survivor's Encumbrance being over carry weight, and can result in potential sprains.

Risk

}}

Carrying too much weight beyond carrying capacity or becoming too tired to carry your heavy load will warn the player that they are at risk of acquiring a sprain. Walking off road onto uneven ground (icon shown in the photo) may have a chance of a Sprained Wrist or Sprained Ankle ooccurring.

The exact mechanics that result in a sprain are simple: if the player walks across uneven terrain for more than 10 seconds (and the steep slopes icon doesn't disappear), the player will aquire a sprain. Mountain Goating is not advised when the player has a Sprain Risk, as they will almost certainly sprain themselves when going down sharp terrain.

Consider either resting or lightening your load in order to eliminate the risk, or consume a Go! Energy Drink or an Emergency Stim.
