Lonely Cave is a small cave within the Hushed River Valley.
Access
It is only a short distance from the cave connecting the region to Mountain Town as the crow flies, but it is on a mountain and requires a long walk to actually get there. From the transition cave take the right fork away from Cloudtop Falls under a fallen tree bridge (which you will later cross). Then keep right until coming to a Rope Climbing section and climb up. After passing an entrance to the Ice Cave on the right, just follow the path straight to the cave. Balancing over a fallen tree bridge will be required near the end. A hatchet will be required to clear some Scrub Brush that's blocking the path.
Overview
This non-explorable cave possibly contains a flare gun and several flare shells, some food, matches, antibiotics, cedar/fir firewood, and a burned-out campfire. Although very safe from hostile wildlife, it is located far from any Rabbit Grove or deer spawn, making it rather unsuitable for use as a long-term base.
Other nearby locations include a Prepper Cache and a Plane Crash a short distance to the west.
