The First Aid Kit is an item found at the beginning of Episode 1: Do Not Go Gentle in the mission Memories. It is found inside the Jackrabbit Remote Transport, and is one of 3 extra items that can be placed inside Mackenzie's Floatplane (along with Astrid's Hardcase and Astrid's Backpack) before takeoff.
If the player chooses to put the First Aid Kit in the plane's hatch, it will break open once the plane crashes and the following items can be recovered for use:

Emergency Stim - 2
Bandages - 1
Antibiotics - 1
Painkillers
Arguably the least useful choice of supplies overall, as Bandages are easily crafted and the other items can be found somewhat easily on Green Survivor and Capable Survivor. On Green Survivor, Wolves can be safely ignored, avoiding Infection entirely. Dysentery can be avoided by not drinking unsafe water, and Food Poisoning can be avoided by not eating low-condition food or raw meat. Painkillers are the least useful, as Pain has no real detrimental effects in Wintermute and is cured easily enough without treatment, Burns are only possible to get in Episode 1 by walking directly into a Campfire, and there are no Moose present in Episode 1 to potentially give Broken Ribs. The Emergency Stim may be useful for the rope climbs at the end of the episode, but it's very likely to find at least one while looting Milton and completing the side missions.
