</infobox> Caffeine Pills are a First Aid item in The Long Dark.

Overview

Caffeine Pills are used to help eliminate Fatigue, and are only acquired from the Trader.

• Each box contains 5 Pills.
• Each pill gives 5 Calories (25 Calories a pack).
• Once consumed, immediately gives +25% Fatigue and provides Fatigue Reduced for 4 hours.
• As a consequence, these pills also give a Headache for 3 hours once consumed.

The screen will pulse around the edges as though the player has consumed an Emergency Stim (the pulsing is not nearly as fast however). There will also be a blue outline around the edges as though the player consumed a Go! Energy Drink.

Each pill weighs 0.02 kg, for 0.10kg a pack.

Location

Caffeine Pills are acquired by trading with the Trader, and are only unlocked after reaching 400 Trust.
