Frostbite is a physical Injury acquired from having bare skin exposed to the cold for too long and not managing Frostbite Risk, and permanently reduces overall Condition by 10%.
Process
Frostbite Risk will only appear when 1 of 5 extremities of bare skin is exposed directly to the cold, or by wearing Clothing that is currently Frozen on a particular body part. Frostbite Risk will continue to increase until said body part is either covered up with unfrozen Clothing, or it is sufficiently warmed at a fire until the Risk subsides. Should a body part continue to remain exposed to the freezing cold, Frostbite will develop, and can potentially begin Frostbite Risk on that limb again.

Each instance of acquired Frostbite reduces your maximum Condition level by 10%. Frostbite is currently the only affliction to have no cure (Unless the player Cheats Death). Players should take care to pay attention to their Frostbite Risk, so that Frostbite can be prevented.
- A player can only receive Frostbite for 5 body parts (Head, Torso, Hands, Legs, Feet), however you can get 5 Frostbite Afflictions for every body part, resulting in a death at 10 instances of Frostbite (or 11 temporarily with the extra 15% acquired from Well Fed and Nourished, until Nourished wears off).
- Theoretically, if one's Condition were high enough, it would be possible to acquire 25 instances of Frostbite, totaling for a maximum of -250% Condition loss.
- The Condition bar loss from Frostbite stacks with Burns or Chemical Poisoning.
