Overview
Freighthopper's Rockfall is a wooden rockfall shelter that protects a small section of the Trans-Island Railway Line. It is found in the Far Range Branch Line region, and is located between the train tunnel leading to Transfer Pass and Remnant Cave. The structure still remains standing despite being abandoned for decades, and a single Coal car has been left on the track under the wooden structure.
Despite its name, the rockfall shelter is designed to offer more shelter and protection for trains and their cars and not able-bodied survivors walking on foot. As such, the area provides very little protection from the elements. There is no loot in the area, aside from a few rabbits that may wander nearby.
The area does not appear as a location on the map, even when surveyed with Charcoal.
