Carrot is a raw food item in The Long Dark, found inside Vegetable Rack containers or pre-placed in the world.
Overview
Carrot is a relatively long lasting vegetable found either in groups of 2-8 inside vegetable storage containers or "pre-placed" lying usually on tables in kitchen or dining areas or inside a crate, possibly alongside Potato.
Carrots are a non-renewable resource unless the Trader is enabled, where they have a chance to appear.
While a Carrot can be eaten raw, they can also be used in the creation of certain unique cooking recipes like the Thomson Family Stew.
