</infobox>Max's Last Stand is a location at the southwestern corner of Mystery Lake, and south of Trapper's Homestead.
Overview
Max's Last Stand is directly south of Trapper's Homestead in a clearing. Beneath a lone tree, a frozen corpse (presumably Max) lies face-down in the snow. In game difficulties other than Interloper, a firearm and/or ammo might lie nearby.
The continual calls of crows circling the body can serve as a "landmark" of sorts to navigate the hilly landscape around the Trapper's homestead.
