What do you say to simply making "Flare gun" it's own page with a redirect to "Distress pistol"? When I first looked up the gun, I typed "flare" first and didn't think to hit enter and check the search results, I just opened the article for "Flare shell" and then found the 'real' name of "Distress pistol." If we had a redirect off "Flare gun" it would show up in the auto drop down menu when you start typing "flare"
