It used to be my hunting technique back in the days. Lure the wolf to a fire and shoot an arrow in the head while he is staring into the fire growling. Even worked on bears. Lots of easy meat. Doesnt work anymore. They start charging once you draw the bow.

On the other hand wolf and bear meat is not that desireble anymore with all the parasites risk.
