Completed this within 3-4 days without ever leaving CH. (Well, okay, I went as far as the transition mines to PV/DP, but I never stepped foot on either PV/DP.) I found a lantern in each of the transition mines plus tons of fuel. I found a hatchet in the PV transition mine and a second hatchet next to the cabin by Bear Creek Campground. I found most of the rifle cartridges in the fishing huts, maybe a couple in the transition mines.

My best tip, though, is to save several flares to use them as wolf repellant! I found like a dozen flares, and they came in very handy.
