Fir has the worse weight to burn time of any of the firewoods ceder is nice but in the end is beat out by the ease of optainment sticks 8 sticks to the hour is 1.76 lbs .66 lbs heaver then ceder but they are every where and take no caloric or hatchet investment to optain them imo ceder is made next to obsolete by sticks and fir is only worth harvesting to fix the heavy hammer
