Wish I'd seen this earlier, as I hard to learn the hard way. But yeah, these rabbits are damn near blind to you when crouched. Looking at it's movement and looping around to place yourself right in front of its estimated path and then waiting for it to hop right at you and stunning the poor thing with a rock at point blank range, turns rabbit hunting from an exercise in frustration to one of the most reliable sources of fresh meat.
