Well, there isn't a mechanic to reduce the heat of a fire, so there's not much you could do if temperatures hotter than 40 celsius would hurt you. But that's probably by design. The game is about fighting off the cold, not the warm. Having to take off your clothes because it's too hot at certain times would just be annoying. You can just assume that the character takes off his / her clothes if they feel too hot. Just the same way that you assume that they would also use the toilet at certain times. You don't need to implement that into the game, we just know that it's a thing people do. Player must have a bit of suspension to disbelief when playing games.
