Thanks for the education, but I think the comment was that players are ABLE to abuse the baiting technique and kill everything and anything - not so much that it is abusive to use the technique itself. Essentially, it makes the game "unrealistically" easier, even on the more "difficult" modes.

That being said, the game itself is not meant to be a "realistic" portrayal of the real world. The developers even state this in the DISCLAIMER that comes up on the load page...
