in real life a decent sised deer can last one adult male of a semi reasonable build 2-3 weeks without a dought giving round 60ish lbs easy seeing as harvesting skill only effects the time to harvest not the usable meet the deer we find in the long dark are some of the leanest in the world from a gameplay standpoint one and done for a month doesn`t make interesting gameplay it is impossable to have a interesting game be realistic 100% and still be fun to play if this game was realistic all our characters would die within a 60 days from malnutrition and we would never heal from animal attacks
