honestly the bow has always seemed like an optional weapon, even when the rifle was the only weapon and i was playing on stalker (hardest at the time) i survived to day 200 using only the rifle and still never used all 40 rifle bullets i looted from just 2 regions (pleasant valley and coastal highway)
