They should have added more guns to make things more complicated. There are literally hundreds of rifles in the same class as the .303 in real life, each with their own ammo, makes no sense to have only 1 rifle type and only its specific ammo scattered around the world. They should have at least 5 different rifles with unique ammo to each.
