Sorry, but "Pork and Beans" belongs to the kind of food that has a decay status appendix. So I'm not quite astonished that food poison effect occured as you ate this in spoiled condition.

It would be more interesting, if this ever happened to anyone while he consumed something like Orange Soda, Tin of Sardines or Military Grade-MRE (just for an example).  i.e. food, whose decay is only shown by percentage - and without a decay status appendix in it's name.
