Coastal is a great map. Sry I can't make the biggest overviews because I'm typing on ipad. The perks are a straight linear road, a lot of loot, and the jackrabbit island is a good base. The only cons are that its.confusing getting to mystery lake fro m here and a lot of wolves at the townsite, but the gas station makes up for that. Also basically the upper part is confusing and it is a pain to get to desolation point as well. Good place to go if you started in desolation of mystery tho. Also.a side note is that I once walked all the way from the maintenance shed  in broken railroad to Carter hydro dam in mystery without stopping except for a quick fire break and i n a blizzard.
