If you have a light source such as a flare, fuelled storm lantern or several matches then they'll help immensely when navigating those gloomy tunnels. Also note that there are two entrances/exits to that cave; one to Winding River and the other to Pleasant Valley. So during the day time look for the light. Good luck!
