The name of the game is resource management. Harvest all of the meat from the carcass in one go. Cook it all in one go. Don't eat any of it until after you've cooked all of it. You need to get your hunger bar above a certain percent, so if you eat it a little bit at a time, the bar will decrease between eating and you'll never pass the mission. If you eat it all at once, you will actually only need to eat 2kg of meat to pass the mission, and can keep the other 1.5kg to bring with you.
