Hi! I found the entry on Bear to be quite helpful. The fire trap info is very useful as well as the information about very rapid decay of all unharvested meat. It seems to go to zero in about 23 hours; not clear from experimentation yet if freezing by removing the guts works to delay meat decay. It does seem to encourage freezing of the meat, something highly desirable when hunting in real life. The first job is to open the carcass and remove the entrails to permit it to freeze and not spoil. That part is right in real life. It's curious that it should take all raw meat 25 days to go to zero while only under 24 hrs if left on the carcass.  Experiments with deer show that the meat harvested loose condition differently, I guess from temperature but perhaps from the accelerated decay while left on the carcass. There seem to have been changes to this in recent releases; currently working with v.282. This wikia is a GREAT resource!! Thank you to the many contributors.
