Nice to hear there is german version incoming! Sure you can ask any question either on user's wall or at the [[Special:Forum|forum]], where other contributors might have a lower threshold to give their own opinion on the question.

We've had somewhere rules on what kind of pictures we find acceptable for this wikia but mainly it states that the background should be transparent and borders to be avoided to make the object as visible as it can be. I'll link the text here when I find it.

What comes to if some pictures can be used for other wikia... I am not completely sure about that since most pictures goes with some kind of Licensing and copyrights, and at least using them without proper linking to the source is not advised. I'd like to hear other's opinion on that as well.
