This is one of the best safehouses, particularly in the very late game: it has a fireplace (2 slot) and crafting bench 'indoors', but does not give the indoors penalty to Cabin Fever for staying inside of it. 3 Rabbit Groves are nearby, one to the East, one South-East, and one due West. There is a Fishing Hut to the immediate north, and plenty of wood harvesting areas in every direction but north.

Deer are commonly found to the north-east end of the lake, and two bear can be found close by: one in the Wing area to the far east, and one to the north-west near the river.

Coal can also be found in both cave systems.
