this map is incomplete. You can go through the mines to get to the crumbling highway and the past the crumbling highway is a lake with ice huts and a coastal town that makes a *great* home base if you can survive the long run to it. The house I settled on had tons of space for storage, a fireplace to cook/melt water, is a short run from an ice fishing hut, has a gas station with a work bench behind it, and is just very easy to set up a sustainable, long term game. It's well worth the run, even though I have yet to find a map that documents anything but that initial starting area. I began the game and cleared all the must get items from the lighthouse, the ship (including crafting a hatchet and knife just in case), and the warehouse before making the run to set up my home base in the second half of the map.
