New page

We did a calculation from a video recording on youtube. The bear meat seems to disappear in under 24 hours unless harvested and cooked before that time expires. Ideally, it seems you want to cook the meat fully before 11 hours expire so that the meat is still near 100%. Currently we don't know if the hide and guts also disappear when the meat reaches zero so harvesting a bear is a huge job requiring much coffee, shelter ideally and a fire. Luring a bear to a nearby den might give enough warmth and wind shelter. Still experimenting. We hope that the rapid spoilage of bear, wolf and deer meat is reduced particularly if the animal is frozen. The carcass seems to freeze faster once guts are removed. A carcass that was 3% frozen after 17 hours was then 30% frozen a few hours later after harvesting the guts. No meat was harvested. This is how it works presently v.282 or v.284 on XBOX 1
