==Overview==<br />
In order to craft this item, the player must visit the [[Foreman's Retreat]] in [[Ash Canyon]]. It can only be created once its [[Recipe Cards|Recipe Card]] is found. It can spawn in various locations within the first room of the cabin near the kitchenette.<br />

Ranger Stew produces a [[Scent]] which attracts [[Wolf|predators]], and may be dropped as a [[Scent#Baiting/Decoys|decoy]].<br />

Ranger Stew is much lighter than the ingredients that go into making it, with the meat alone being over double the weight of the finished stew. As [[Carrot|carrots]] and [[Potato|potatoes]] are generally rather easy to find, this makes it one of the easier foods to cook in the game.
