'''Misty Falls Cave''' is an unofficial name for the cave right next to the [[Misty Falls Picnic Area]], located in the far northeast corner of [[Pleasant Valley]]. It offers some shelter, but beware as on colder days you may freeze to death.<br />

==Overview==<br />
There can be decent amounts of gear inside, in addition to an abundance of [[Coal]]. It is strongly advised to bring a light source as there is a spiraling ramp at the start of the cave which can cause major injury to the player, even resulting in death. In addition, there can be various wood items in the area to gather, and up to two [[wolf|wolves]] may spawn in the area. In rare instances, a [[Bear]] can wander from their den to the east. Don't worry, there are no wolves inside the cave. <br />

*Numerous stones and [[coal]]<br />
*A couple of frozen corpses which spawn various items<br />
*[[Stick|Sticks]] fallen from holes in the cave's ceiling<br />
*A metal box containing various items right after the entrance<br />
*An "[[Advanced Guns Guns Guns!]]" [[Research Book|research book]] occasionally spawns next to the metal box.<br />
*At a dead-end, a [[bedroll]] can spawn with a [[Flare]] and some food lying around in the vicinity.<br />
*If lucky, a [[Survival bow|survival bow]] can spawn in an intersection in the cave, sometimes next to a corpse.<br />
*A small room across the waterfall: a [[revolver]] or a [[hunting rifle]]<br />
*Outside the cave, at the picnic area, a frozen corpse may have their rifle lying next to them. <br />
*A chance of [[Spelunker's Lantern]] spawning after the waterfall in the crouching area <br />
== Episode 3 ==<br />
*The three frozen corpses inside, one of whose head was crushed by a fallen rock, could have been the friends of the mountain climber who left a page of [[Climber's journal page|his journal]] in the [[Mountaineer's Hut]] in [[Timberwolf Mountain]].<br />
*However, this incident could have instead occurred at the [[Point of Disagreement]], not far from the cave.<br />

* The area accessed through the waterfall inside the cave has small patches of bio-luminescent moss along some of the walls, just like the [[Ice Cave|ice caves]] in [[Hushed River Valley]].<br />
