==Overview==
Consuming Maple Syrup provides up to 850 calories of [[hunger|energy]], and does not cause [[thirst|dehydration]]. They are rarely found in pantries and other containers, but more commonly in fixed spawns at named locations.

Maple Syrup are the rarest food item, with only 5-7 found in an entire world, roughly half the spawn chance of the next rarest food item: [[Military-Grade MRE]]. Maple Syrup decays relatively rapidly for an artificial item, resulting in potentially even fewer than 5-7 present if some become Ruined (0% Condition) inside of a container and are destroyed.

Maple Syrup can never cause [[Food Poisoning]] above 20% condition, and [[decay|decays]] more slowly when outdoors.
