The Down Bedroll weighs 0.10 kg more than a regular [[Bedroll]] and is harder to repair, requiring [[Ptarmigan Down]] in addition to [[Cloth]], but is also significantly warmer, making it a good alternative to the regular Bedroll. <br />

The Improvised Down Bedroll takes an ordinary [[Bedroll]] and stuffs it full of Ptarmigan Down feathers, resulting in a base warmth increase of the Bedroll by 3°C at 100% (for a total of 8°C). The weight of the Bedroll also increases, from 1 kg to 1.1 kg. <br />

Can be crafted anywhere by hand. Takes 3/6 hours to craft with [[Sewing Kit]]/[[Fishing Tackle]] respectively.<br />

Note that a completely ruined [[Bedroll]] (0%) can still be crafted into an Improvised Down Bedroll at 100%. (doesn't seem to be current anymore for 2.39 version of the game - needs further verification)<br />
