It makes no sense that these all-leather boots provide the same base warmth as a pair of synthetic running shoes, or that harvesting these boots gives you only 1 cured leather where the running shoes give you two. There isn't a scrap of leather on running shoes these days, and there is definitely not twice as much fabric than a pair of above-ankle boots. Who decided this? Seems totally backwards.
