I found a spot with 2 ropes deployed in Pleasant Valley. They can be found near Skeeter's Ridge if you walk away from one house and towards the possible corpse. There is a spot with a fallen tree that you can walk under, and on the left of that is a small trail that leads to a deployed rope. If you travel down the rope, there is another ledge with a rope deployed as well.

Using this map, it is between the "Skeeter's Ridge" text and the northwest point of the circular trail surrounding the text.

There really wasn't a good way to explain this since I don't know Pleasant Valley very well (even with a map; it's my second playthrough), but it is there. At the bottom of the second ledge is a reishi mushroom gathering spot (unmarked on the map) and a rabbit area, if that helps at all.
