I´ve found it twice in different games on the red barn at PV. Why it´s the BEST item of the game:

Food: Infinite, as long as rabbits lives and the stones don´t degrade; or you push a deer to a wolf then scary him with stones or fire; or you even call a wolf and wound him in the struggle and go search for the carcass.

Water: Infinite as long as you have firestarting and wood and a recycled can. Recycled cans only degrade if you forget it to burn or dry water. ​​​​
Shelter: Well I don´t think the houses and caves are demolished, are they?

Clothes: One day may all be finished, and you´ll have to use pelts. You can use hooks after your sewing kits are gone. It will take thousands of days that you can´t have metal to make a hook and you are out of cloth. Anyway you can live even naked depending on the difficulty level, if you have enough fire and only goes out for getting food and sticks. 

Wood: Branches sticks and coal respawns, so you´ll have fuel for fire forever.

Weapons, tools: you can basically live forever without a rifle or a revolver. Not even a hatchet is needed if you break branches with your hands, neither a knife because you can take frozen rabbits home, wait it to defroze and harvest with your hands too.

Firestarters: Matches one day will be over. Automatic firestarters will decay with using and can´t be repaired. If you protect your lens from bears, you´ll have fire forever. I suffered two bear attacks on my current save with my lens in pockets and fortunately it didn´t break. Now I leave it near the place I use to make fire and then drop it again.
