&lt;div&gt;I started a sandbox game set on the &amp;quot;Voyager&amp;quot; difficulty and kept meticulous records of what I found.  The revolver seems to be roughly twice as rare as the rifle; after exploring every region, I found 6 rifles but only 3 revolvers.  The ammo is MUCH more common, though; I found more than 300 rounds for the revolver, but just over 120 for the rifle.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

Yes, I know.  It confused me too... and still does, if I forget to check the compass rose (the thing next to the the map legend that tells you which way north is.)&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
